Manchester United fans have called out Joshua Zirkzee for his social media post following his cameo against Chelsea.
Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s second match following Erik ten Hag’s dismissal.
Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty in the 70th minute to open the scoring, while Moises Caicedo equalized just four minutes later.
Van Nistelrooy made changes to influence the match, bringing on Zirkzee for Rasmus Hojlund in the 84th minute.
Zirkzee, who has not scored for Man United since his opening strike against Fulham, was given a chance as soon as he entered the fray.
He was put through on goal, but couldn’t make the most of the opportunity.
His lack of pace let him down as he failed to pass Wesley Fofana.
After the match, Zirkzee shared a photo of himself running through the goal on social media, even though nothing came of the opportunity.

Man United fans have lambasted Zirkzee online for the ‘shameless’ post.

A second joked: “Bro thinks he runs faster, we saw the gaming bro.”
A third added: “This man has no shame.”
Zirkzee joined from Bologna for £36.5 million during the summer transfer window.
So far this season he has scored just one goal in fourteen games in all competitions.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, remain in the bottom half of the table, occupying 13th place.
Van Nistelrooy will oversee two more Man United games before Ruben Amorim officially takes charge of the club.
After the match the interim boss said: “Overall it was a very good performance. The players did very well and fought on every inch of the field. It was really good to see that part.
“The chances we created meant we could have scored one more to win the game. It was a shame we couldn’t. Overall I’m a little disappointed we didn’t win.”
